Step 1 – Order online
Follow the step-through process and purchase your pathology request. Print your prepaid pathology request form and do not forget to save a copy with your other travel documents.

Step 2 – Get your sample collected
IMPORTANT: Please remember to ONLY present within the collection window that is specific for your travel plans. Return here to connect with your local testing laboratory.
Remember to look for the Sonic logo when visiting the collection centre.
Check when you are required to have your sample collected ('collection window')
It's essential that you check with your travel carrier, transit and destination countries for the required timeframe within which you need to have your COVID-19 test performed. When you place your order, please ensure that you use the collection window calculator provided.
For example, you are asked to have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of departure. This means you cannot present for collection of your swab or blood prior to the start of the 72-hour window. Please present as soon as this window opens.

If your sample is collected in the red window we cannot guarantee that you will receive your report prior to departure.
Step 3 - Receive your test results
Once your samples have been collected, they are delivered to one of our laboratories for testing. You will receive an SMS when your results are reported and a full pathology report is available to you via the secure link. You will need the PIN found on the top right-hand corner of your invoice (sent with your request form – page 2) to open your secure link.
