In circumstances when there is an outbreak causing an increase in demand for testing, there may be a delay.
Please ensure you present for collection as early as possible within your testing window. Please have your sample collected within the time specified in the dark blue testing window, according to the guideline of your travel service or destination country. A negative test is usually required 48 OR 72 hours prior to departure. Ensure that you have confirmed the latest guidelines for your travel before ordering your test. If your sample is collected in the red window, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your report prior to departure.
We highly recommend printing multiple copies of your negative result as some airlines and destinations may require a printed copy of your report.
How to calculate 72 hours for testing based on arrival
Some countries require travellers to have a negative COVID-19 test based on their arrival, rather than departure.
Although you cannot use the Sonic Travel Testing pre-departure calculator, you can work out when to have your test collected by using a time zone converter.
